Haven't found how to do this yet, but from some of the posts here seems like it is possible. Can you help?

Also, is it possible to handwrite in Evernote?

Thanks for your help, guys!

When you set your keyboard to revert to handwriting with the S-pen whatever you write in the box will Convert to regular typed text. to into your keyboard settings for this,

Sent from the baddest device on the planet, my Galaxy Note 3.

I recently downloaded a great app called "fast notepad" that works great and converts handwriting to text very accurately. I wish I could put it in the air command popup instead of action memo.

I haven't used swift key so I'm not sure. It's a free download though - see if it's what you're looking for.

No, I meant does the stock Samsung apps convert handwriting to typing if you have Swiftkey as your default keyboard...

Yes, but only in the places you get the handwriting icon by hovering over the text area, like when sending a text message. However when sending email with the stock app, you would have to change from Swiftkey to the stock keyboard to have handwriting input window. Also, you can use handwriting to compose an email in the stock email app that will not convert to typed text no matter which keyboard you use.

Edit: Swiftkey does a very good job of converting speech to text.
