Can the ring around the camera be customized for notifications?

I was wondering can the ring that lights up around the camera be customized for notifications? I only see it light up when i switch my camera from rear and front is there any other times i will see the ring light up?

I read somwhere that Goodlock has the ring light. Then you can either use holey light or Led me Know to get different colors. I haven't tried it myself yet so at this point going off what others had written

unfortunately holey light doesn't work. I cant find the settings in good lock either. guess we will have to wait for updates

Edge Lighting+ is a free Samsung app but I haven't tried it yet, it will be interesting to see if the ring around the front camera can be used as a notification, lighting up intermittently.

It works okay, but on the lockscreesn only a small portion of the bottom of the hole lights up, or stays lit up. Hoping they fix it. Just emailed the developer.

the app AOE (Always on Edge) has updated to work for the Note 10+. I don't get alot of notifications this time of nite but I did send myself an email. It worked great! I choose to have my screen light around the whole phone & camera. It does only go about 3/4 way round the camera.

Do you have yours set for the default 15 seconds? It wakes your screen and I get the full ring at first, but I have mine set to 30 seconds. As soon as the screen shuts off (after 15 seconds) and defaults back to the aod, only the bottom of the ring continues to illuminate. Only way to avoid that is to keep it at 15 seconds. And kinda bummed that I can't have the ring reoccur, or at least I haven't figured that out yet. It's cool, but not a replacement for the led that continues to pulsate until you see the notification.

I'm not having that issue. Mine lights up the whole ring
