Can the WI-FI calling notification/icon be hidden?

I turned on wifi calling today and was greeted with the annoying status bar icon and a notification, neither of which will go away. I run my biz with this phone and seeing my notifications is a priority for me. I can't have the bar cluttered with this nonsense.

Can this be permanently hidden? If not, I'm just going to leave wifi calling off.

Device is Tmobile version.

Try system UI tuner, it allows you to turn off status bar icons
