Can unlocked Samsung Galaxy S3 (Verizon) be used with Virgin Mobile

[AC Question]

I was formerly a Verizon customer, and had their Samsung Galaxy S3. The I called Verizon and they told me the phone is unlocked.

I am now a Virgin Mobile customer, and would like to use the Samsung Galaxy S3 with my Virgin Mobile account.

Is this possible?
