Android Central Question

What if I come out of the v30 headphone line and into the RCA's of a NAD 3020?
Do you think that would allow Tidal's MQA recordings to work?
V30 seems to work better with Tidal's MQA through the headphones than through
streaming.

To the Aux input - it might work. It depends on whether NAD designed the aux input properly. It should be a bridging input, and that wouldn't look like an earphone to the V30. You might have to wire a 47 Ohm resistor from line to ground to make the V30 switch to earphones. (It depends on whether the V30's earphone jack switches just by plugging in a plug [a mechanical switch] or by the presence of a load.)

And the levels (what the V30 puts out and what the 3020 expects) matter too. If the output is too high, you might need an L-Pad to reduce it. If it's too low you'd need a pre-amp.
