Can V40 thinQ assign special notification to a contact???

I tried all over the place and googled it, but all I was able to do is assign a ringtone to the contact, but no luck with notifications.

Select a contact then hit edit.. Scroll all the way to the bottom and click on MORE... You will see the notification option...this will add a notification field.. Easy... In older android versions you had to use the add another field option.

I think they are referring to custom notifications for specific contacts in texting.

Pulse messenger allows you to set a customized notification per conversation... Pretty nice though if you delete the conversation you lose it..

I've had it in several phones.

Oreo broke it in the S8+ and this forum and many others blew up because Samsung/Oreo broke it and pissed them off.

When i tried this the phone didn't show an option for notifications, I only got address, vibration, phonetic name, organization notes, nickname, website, events, relationship, ringtone and IM. So I'm not sure if something is wrong with my phone or whatnot.

An option not there would not be something wrong with the phone. It could be carrier or Country specific.
