Can we expect the Merge to come out in January?

well there is a chance it wont be 4g lte. but expect it at this event. id love to see it show up. im wanting the thunderbolt. an my wife wants something with a keyboard. so rather the droid2 or this.

Rumors are that the iphone is due to be announced on 2/3. If there's something this week, it should be interesting.

Whether or not the public is dying for it, I'm not sure. I think that if you wanted an iphone at this point, you'd have already gone to ATT. My friends with iphones seem more interested in pricing to see if Verizon/ATT will help them save money.

well, my statement was mostly based on people who QQ on the AT&T facebook page threatening or proclaiming that they're gone as soon as the iphone for the verizon comes out. As for me? I want to switch to Android with a keyboard that looks great like the Merge. if it comes out as a world phone or released as a world wide version that will physically look almost identical, then I'm all in.

I am shocked that the Merge wasn't even mentioned at CES. The only positive is that it makes me feel a bit better for not waiting. My sympathies to all those that are still waiting.

Well, I'm not upgrade-eligible til March... so I'll blame my "patience" on that instead of the mythical Merge.... but who am I kidding. I'm loyal to VZW and if the Merge isn't released by then I'll dump my physical keyboard 'requirement' and hop on the Thunderbolt or Bionic train and call it a day!
