so just a wondering if i do get this or the edge on my birthday 2 weeks by getting it cheap signing up 2 year contact walmart

when plug phone to computer though usb cord will compute see the usb mass storage mode instead of mtp ptp or not

That's determined by the version of Android it's running, and nothing that can run on an S7 is old enough to show mass storage. You'll get MTP or PTP from now on, until they come up with something new.

so even if its on lolliop or marshmellow still going to get mtp or ptp no usb mass storage mode eh i never owned a samsung galaxy phone before i know usb mass storage is on my current phone droid 4 btw

You can simulate mass storage if you know Linux well enough. An image of /userdata (the partition) with dd will give you an image that has all the user files. Manipulating that in a Windows computer bypasses all the Linux restrictions, so you can copy any file you like, even if it's normally invisible in the phone.
