Can you pay with a nexus 7 tablet at a google wallet pay pass?

I was wondering, have any of you nexus 7 owners use your nexus 7 at a google wallet pay pass? If you have, how was it? Can you even do it? Do you need wifi?:-$

Yes you can. No need for WiFi to be on. Your balance will adjust next time you get on WiFi.
