The extra 50 dollars was if you signed up for pre-order reservation.
Right, but does that mean you don't need pre order reservation for the 150?

The 150 was the pre-order credit for anyone who ordered during pre-order. No sign up was required.Right, but does that mean you don't need pre order reservation for the 150?
No, remember at the beginning of this I said try it and if you get denied it is what it is. My opinion is to move on, you knew you ordered past the date and this was just a try and see if you get it by luck thing. Besides, calling Samsung support is no treat.Wow, they rejected me. Why am I hearing some people who didn't pre order got theirs? Should I call them and tell them my story if pre ordering at Verizon but then choosing ATT instead?
You can try whatever you want but they will tell you the same answer. I'm not sure who are those people who told you they got theirs without pre ordering. But at least in the US if you missed the pre order they are going to deny it irrespective of what some random person says.Wow, they rejected me. If they were to start bending the rules and provide the promo bonuses to people that did not pre-order, that would defeat the whole point of the pre-order process and that makes no sense. You can try whatever you want but they will tell you the same answer. One thing to keep in mind, they keep on bringing new deals every few weeks, so if you want some kind of offer then wait till the next round of offers and it shouldn't be that far away. I won't be surprised to see some other offer starting soon in the next couple of weeks.

When you factor in the trade in value and the $150, it usually doesn't get better. Black Friday is coming, there's usually some promos there. It's a gamble, but if you are trading in a phone that's a promo trade amount also, so I would stay where you're at and forget the $150 since you didn't satisfy that part. I don't recall much on sales, but they pop up if you want to wait. Most time they are $300 off and maybe a monthly credit applied for 24 months, some stores offer gift cards. Black Friday sales that are good are also limited supply. You have the phone now, the lack of the $150 isn't worth the hassle in returning it and ordering it again IMO.Right, but do you think these will be similar to pre order offers and I would be able to redeem them?

Edit..I read and seen you ordered thru at&t. I think they also have a restock fee of some sort. Verizon is $50. When factoring that in, it's starting to be more not worth it. If at&t charges a activation fee, you already paid that and don't think that's refundable and if you get it down the road there will be another activation fee. I'm going off how Verizon treats their customers, but that's something to keep in mind also, something to check on. You could be close to $100 in expenses returning and waiting for a different deal.
Yes not worth it.
I'm disappointed in Samsung this year. In the past they always gave gifts or bonuses to anyone that supported their product within the first month of launch. Kind of lame I bought mine pretty much around launch and can't get the benefits
If you didn't order on time you can be disappointed, but blaming Samsung because you ordered after the promo ended is ludicrous.
