I have read many discussions on this site and believe it to be the most concise. This is however my first time writing my own request for help. I purchased n7 in November.....loved the tablet, talked wife into one.....she only likes it. My question is that I have a broken display (half of screen works)and repairs at this point are as much as the original price of the unit. So I'm wanting to transfer info (movies, pictures, text files and a few paid apps) from my device to wife's as she has her eye on an iPad. I'm not the most technical person, but can mutter through with good instructions. What apps would each tablet need and what hardware is needed. Or is this even possible? Thanking you in advance for your replies.

Why not just beam them over?

Your best bet would be to either connect it to a computer through USB or to use Dropbox.

Wifi file transfer in the Play store. Bluetooth is so slow.

I use this app also. 35 mb/s transfer rate between PC and nex7.

Also works between two devices. It really is an awesome app.

Something I have really used alot of lately is BUMP. It is a way to share photos, files, apps between phones and mobile devices.. but also a way to get files from phone or tablet onto your PC. Give it a try.
It is extremely easy.

And, of course, there's always Dropbox. Excellent cloud storage and access from all of your devices...
