Hiya,

My dad lives in America and has offered to buy my brother and I a nexus 4 each when our current contracts end in March. From the play store, the 16gb is the same price in dollars as it is in pounds.
Would it be possible to use a phone bought in america on a us credit card (posted there, too) in the UK? I can't seem to find anything helpful On Google regarding it.

Thanks!

N4 is not restricted to any country or carrier. It's totally open to use everywhere.

Yes, N4 can be used with any GSM carriers in the world

i'm using my U.S. bought N4 in the UK.

the only issue i'm aware of with doing this is that if you buy it in the U.S. and you need to replace your N4 for warranty reasons they won't ship a new one to you in the UK (or at least the reps I spoke with wouldn't), only to the U.S.
