can you use digitizer from galaxy 3 and put in galaxy 6

Was trying to change screen in my galaxy s6 and broke the LCD or digitizer whatever that black screen is it shattered.. Well the part is expensive so I was wondering I have an old phone that is a galaxy s3 could I use the one out of it for my galaxy s6 920 p-f11
