Can you use the same root method with the new update?

Getting this thursday and I'm more than likely going to go straight to CleanROM but I know this just took an update this week. From everything I can see it looks like the same root and bootloader unlock methods will work but I just want to confirm it before diving into this.

Edit: just saw you can flash the radio/modem upgrade separately. Guess I can always activate, disable data, root and then flash the update.

If you use the root method with ODIN then yes because this will install a new OS on the device anyway and you will be okay. As far as the utilities I am not sure, might want to ask the dev.

Are you sure you are not using the modified version I posted because it is the same root but updated for the latest OTA update? But the update is posted by another user than Debugfs..

I had sent my phone to Samsung for repair and when it came back it was updated to the latest firmware. I simply hooked it up to my computer and used the same file I had used before to root. Everything worked. I never downloaded the new Debugfs.
