Can you use the WiFi freely with this phone? Meaning, like an ipod, or do I need a data plan? I hate carrying both my ipod and phone so I'm looking for something to be rolled up into one. But with my blackberry, I can't use the WiFi unless I have a data plan, is this phone different? Thank you.

I had my Exhibit 1week before I got the chip from T-Mobile and used wifi during the wait, with no problems.
