Canada HTC insurance

Does anyone know of a place where i can get device protection / insurance for my HTC U11 in Canada. Squaretrade would do it only for USA. My carrier wouldn't give device protection since it is a non-canadian phone.

Good question but I have no idea. Last year, if you bought the 10 unlocked from HTC, it came with Uh Oh protection, which covered Canadians too. I'm just crossing my fingers and going with the standard one-yr warranty.

This is a very good question, indeed. I'm in Canada and plan to get the HTC U11, and I know Rogers won't help me out with that. And rightfully so I guess, since the phone won't be coming from them...

Anywho, if anyone hears of some kind of insurance plan, please post here! I bought my Honor 8 unlocked with no Canadian insurance (it came with American, but yeah); and I still have this little worried pit in my stomach whenever I think of what could happen to it lool.

Just discovered that my bank credit card covers 3 months damage and doubles the warranty period i.e. 1 yr by HTC and second year by my bank... But i am pretty sure i will not even complete one year with the same phone.

I am worried about the winters here in canada. Without sun, would the solar red change its colour? Lol...
