Cannot access the recovery mode on Lenovo A5000. Any tips on how to access it?

I have a lenovo A5000 unit. I forgot my pattern lock in accessing this device. So I decided to access step by step i've seen in the internet. But he gave me this kind of option when Power+VolumeUp the device.

Select boot mode:
[VOLUMUE_UP to select. VOLUME_DOWN is OK]

[Recovery Mode] <<==
[Fastboot Mode]
[Normal Boot]

However, I've tried to select ok (VOLUME_DOWN) but nothing happens.
