Cannot add an avatar in AC app

It doesn't seem possible to add an avatar... It wants you to either drag one into the area (not sure how this is even possible on my phone?) or press the button to upload one - but pressing the button doesn't work / do anything.

I think you do indeed have to use a web browser to add an avatar. There's a lot of little quirks about the AC app and AC Forums app.
