I am trying to copy the file libpredtm.so from SDcard/download to /system/lib as the workaround indicates to fix an issue with google apps on the Kyocera Hydro Icon with Android 4.4.2 for Freedompop.
I have installed Kingo Root and Kongo Superuser.
Kingo Root shows Root obtained.
I grant root access to ES File manager/Explorer
When I try to copy the file, it fails with the error EACCESS as shown in the attachment.
If I try the copy without granting root to ESFM, I get EROFS (Read Only File System) as expected.
I wonder why I get the EACCESS error and how to successfully copy this file.
