I have a Kyocera C6730 (Hydro Icon) phone that was my first Android phone. It is was originallly Sprint phone and I purchased it from Freedompop. I really love its minuscule size and would like to use it as a rugged camera/audiobook player/GPS etc.
I remember rooting it with kingroot or something like that, for reasons I don't even remember, may be to remove some unused apps. After that, it has stopped installing system updates. It downloads the same Kyocera system update file every time it is restarted, tries to install and then fails at about 53%. The error message is Error 8507: Update cannot be completed. Contact your system provider.
How can I fix this?
