I recently factory reset my phone to get the new Droid X gingerbread OTA. When I went to install my apps it said they were unable to download. I then purchased a paid app and that started downloading right away. I then tried it in the web browser version of the Android Market and it worked as well, so it appears it is the App that has the problem. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have run into this problem on my Incredible that I just switched to Cyanogen. If I log in to the market with my primary Gmail account, I get the message "appxxx cannot be downloaded due to an error." If I log out of the market and back in with a secondary Gmail address, I can download apps just fine. Switcxh back to my primary to get my paid apps back, error comes back. Very strange behavior. Is there some sort of 'reset' switch in the web version of the Market to let it know it's ok for me to download the paid apps to my phone?

I recently switch to cyanogenmod 7 for my LG Optimus V, and I used clockworkmod recovery to do this, but it didn't give the option to install the gapps... what can I do?? I also have no android market.

I don't know about a web reset, but you can use one of two ways on your phone.

Go to settings>applications>manage applications>market and uninstall updates. This will bring you to version 3.4.4 or thereabouts. You should be able to download your apps.

You could also boot into recovery and restore your phone to post-root, pre-CM7 settings. Get as near as you can to when you first flashed the ROM. Perform a data/factory reset wipe, cache and dalvik cache wipe. Reflash CM7 and then flash gapps. The market is included in that package, and you can download your apps.

If this works, definitely do a nandroid backup of everything! Then you can just revert to that state if things go wrong again!

Clear caches, data and updates on Android market app and download agent then restart phone. unchecked automatic restore setting.
