Cannot download Samsung watch faces

Trying to download the new galaxy watch faces onto my galaxy watch 4. And I keep getting an error, network problem. Please try again later.
I've tried uninstalling the wear app and reinstall it again. No restarted both the phone and the watch without success. And I've even reset the watch. Nothing makes a difference.
Does anyone have any ideas?
I'm using the watch with a pixel 6 phone

Yes it does. I also tried having WiFi on the watch activated and deactivated. It made no difference

It's any of the downloadable Samsung watch faces through the wear app

Unfortunately the Galaxy watch faces will not work on the Galaxy W4. They only work on older Galaxy Watches that use the Tzizen OS. GW4 uses Google's Wear OS. You can get Wear OS watch faces from the playstore or through the Galaxy Wearable app.

Unfortunately it's not working for me on the galaxy wear app. Any of the watch haves with the download symbol next to them are not downloading. It's showing a network error and please try again later

Sorry, if this is what you have already tried but just in case....

On your phone, make sure this is the app you have installed for your GW4...

If so, open app and select watch faces (first two screenshots)...

Or

go to playstore and do a search for watch faces...
Install the watch face you want,
(It should install on both your phone and on your watch but you may have to select the devices you want to install it on)
Once installed, long press on your current watch face. Then scroll to the + and you should find the new watch face.
You can also select the new watch face from the Galaxy Wearable app. You will probably find it in the "downloaded" section.

Are you trying to download Samsung Watch Faces or Wear OS watch faces? The Samsung Watch Faces will not work on GW4. You can only use Wear OS watch faces.

Hmm, I have no idea why it's not working. The only thing I can think of is that your watch is not connected to your phone via Bluetooth?? I don't know if it's necessary to be connected to your WiFi network?? I'm totally confused what the problem may be. My last suggestion would be to go to the playstore and then to that watch face app and make sure it is downloaded to both phone & watch. Where it says "install on all devices" select the drop down arrow and it should show that it is installed on your watch.

The watch is connected via bluetooth to the phone. Also I tried having the watch on wifi and then try download the watch face. This doesn't work. Basically any of the watch faces in the Wear app that have the download symbol on them, are not downloading to the watch. The watch faces I'm trying to download and install are not available in the google play store, they are Wear specific for the GW4 watch.

Are you using the Wear OS app? If so, I believe you are not able to download watchfaces with that app if you have Wear OS version 3.0 or above. You will need to download Watchfaces via the Play store.
