Cannot edit self in Contacts

I purchased a S8+ for my wife during the Best Buy sale the other day (Verizon). I've had the same phone since it was released. Hers, however, has a very frustrating problem. When she brings up contacts, if she selects "Edit" on her own contact information, the app force-closes every time. I have no issue editing my contact information on my phone. She did all updates and a factory data reset and it still does this. Verizon tech support was no help and suggests that we exchange the phone. Does anyone have an idea of what else we can try?

My wife took the phone back to Best Buy the other day. They said there was an update available and after that it's working like it was supposed to.
