Cannot import Backup from 7000 to 7100

I just got my GT-N7100 and was trying to migrate my N-7000 contacts and other backedup data to the new device but it wont take the files associated with GT-N7000 Does any one have any idea on how to do it without much hastle. Tries KIES backup process but the backup file created by Kies is not supported on N7100.
