Cannot initiate texts or calls

I have only been able to initiate text messages one time on my Android Auto ap in my Hyundai. What am I doing wrong? For the life of me I cant seem to get it to work...google tells me "im not sure i know what you want".....anyone? Please help?

Have to speak slower sometimes or move your mic placement.

I've had the same problem with AA on 2018 Murano. Assistant works great when not tethered to AA, but text message understanding is a real problem when tethered. See my earlier reply , search 'captfbgnet'
