so... hold down power on, splash screen appears let go and hold power button again (for safe mode?)

it doesn't turn off... it restarts

I'm able to do "restart"... then my attempts for "safe mode" is holding down "volume down key" when splash screen appears and letting button go when splash is gone.

^i don't think that worked, because it goes back normal

then i try it with power button and volume down keys... but it just keeps restarting after the splash screen over and over

Before restart use volume up and power button same time holding until you enter recovery mode from there factory reset

But still locked because it's labeled LOST

Try getting recovery mode to factory reset

recovery mode

are they all interchangeable terms?

Safe mode = turns off all 3rd pary apps
Recovery =can get to adb menu,factory reset, clear cache
Download mode= flash stock firmware or custom

I'm in safe mode.

I just wants to reset my permission settings and the like.... while keeping my apps, data, and possibly my configurations

At this point only flashing the stock firmware through Odin otherwise factory reset in recovery
