Question Cannot paste "copy link" from browser

Starting a day or two ago, when browsing to a URL, I could copy the URL by simply pressing and holding on the URL text. I could then go to another app and paste the URL into it. But now, when I press and hold the URL text, a popup asks "move address bar to the bottom" versus "copy link". I click "copy link". But when I go to another app, paste fails, pasting nothing, as if the URL was not copied to the clipboard. Doubtless some Android update. How to correct?

I assume you're talking about Chrome, because I just saw the same behavior. Definitely sounds like a bug -- send feedback to Google via Chrome's menu (I'll do the same). In the meantime, you can always tap the URL bar once, then tap the Copy icon that shows up next to the URL (between the Share icon and the Edit icon).

You should be able to just tap the browser link and on mine I see a share to the right of it without long pressing
