I came across this site:
環保故事 (Environmental Story)
It is a site in Chinese from TW but you still can view the video if you want.
It uses "JW Player" to stream video(s) in HTML5. I tried Chrome; Dolphin and Firefox in my N5, none of them
can play it. They all say "Plug in required". What kind of plug in i have to install? Please help.

Thank you, have a nice day!

The video plays instantly for me. I'm also using Google Chrome.
Does it have a button that says 'install plugin' when you try to play the video?

When Chrome opens the page, i got "this plug is not supported". ( as shown in the screenshot)
Same thing happens in both N5 & N7(2012).

Any clue? Thank you !

It is a Flash video which is not supported.

It also hung my Firefox session so you should be careful about what you view.

A workaround (something I find doing quite a bit on stock Android) to get this to play is to get flash working on the Nexus 5.

[Guide][Flash]How to play flash video on Android 4.4 Kitkat - xda-developers

My N5 was NOT sideloaded any flash player APK.
My N7(2012) which was sideloaded with flash player at day 1 according to this: http://forums.androidcentral.com/google-nexus-7-tablet-2012/193950-flash-how-read-before-posting-new-thread-about-flash.html
They both play flash videos perfectly in Chrome and Dolphin. But both do not play the video which is flash plus JW player in the site mentioned in my original post.

I still cant find a solution.

It is more than merely flash video, it is flash plus JW player !

Did you follow the directions on the link I just gave you? If so then the video should play on your Nexus 5 as it does mine.

And you can reply to my posts without the caps. It makes it seems like you're the one who knows what you're doing and I don't know what's going on even though I'm the one who is showing you how to get that video to work and it's pretty sad that I'm the only one helping you out. I can do without the perceived attitude through your caps. Don't make it more complicated for yourself. Just follow directions when someone is helping you out before you say something.

Sorry.
I went to the link, followed the instruction, downloaded and installed the modified flash player apk (Adobe Flash Player 11.1.apk) in N5.
The video still cannot be played.

Video works on my end so it has to be a step that's missing.

Recheck if you followed all the steps and if that doesn't work then make sure you delete and completely wipe out all the data associated with those apps, reinstall and try again making all the steps are done correctly.
