Cannot take screenshot

Neither the stock way nor any apps can take screenshots.

with the stock method, I get the error message "Cannot save screenshots".

with various apps, all I get is a blank screen (dark)

Where are you trying to save the file?... SD card or internal? I am pretty sure default storage location is internal. Might want to check there are no conflicts there in your settings.

Maybe... Reboot phone and if that doesn't work then clear cache?

I inserted an SD card and it sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. It usually takes just one pic and then displays "saving screenshot" message forever and refuses to take more.

I think internal memory is the default... at least thats where my captures end up.

Are you using a good SD card?
