Android Central Question

I'm trying to use my Note 8 to edit photos on the go from my main camera. I purchased a usb-c to sd card reader for that purpose. However it doesnt work once connected. It simply says "charging device" in notification center. Attempted to click that to change to "File transfer" and "Image transfer", but neither of those do anything.

I also tried using the OTG connector to use a normal sd card reader, which also doesnt work. The USB-C connector I'm trying to use is the: Anker 2-in-1 USB-C Memory Card Reader for SDXC, SDHC, SD, MMC, RS-MMC, Micro SDXC, Micro SD, Micro SDHC Card and UHS-I Cards

(wasnt allowed to post the link)

It does seem to have OTG connectivity. Any ideas??

Thanks guys.

Yup, try a different reader. Unfortunately with USB-C these seem to be hit or miss. I use the OTG one that comes in the box and use that for a standard USB-A drive and that works.
