Can't acces my Chrome bookmarks

Hello. I am a Chrome browser user, and I have a problem. When I open Chrome, I usually tap ,,bookmarks" and then pick one of my favourite websites. But I always must do this action TWICE, because tapping first time nothing happens. For example:
Chrome>bookmarks>Imdb and throws me back to first page. If I do it again, it works!
