Can't access Android Messages on iPad

Android Central Question

When I try to set up Android Messages on the iPad I currently have to use, only a small portion of the QR code shows...not enough to scan. It doesn't matter which browser I use: Chrome, Safari or Firefox. Is there a solution? Or is this another Apple vs Google play?
