ohhh... so sorry. and thank you.
my ZouZou likes to samba, that is when he wags his tail his whole body moves and he bounces up and down and taps with his front legs. it is making the healing quite difficult. he's been in a cast/splint for 4.5 weeks but it's not healing properly, though it will apparently heal. it will just leave him with arthritis and with chronic pain. we have a surgical consult on Monday, but honestly, I don't know why I'm going because there's no money for surgery even if they can help at this point. feeling a bit lost right now.
I'm sorry to hear that.
But that's a typical timeframe for a broken bone yes?
I broke a knuckle and my hand was about that long in a cast.
Occupational therapy was needed afterward, but animals are a lot more resilient than we are. They keep going just as happy as ever, all they need is food, love, and treats.
