Sorry my badsheand I wasn't using it for the updates or camera settings access.

how do you dismount the sd internally? thanks
Uninstall the updates.
the security updates and the camera update? how would I do that? thanks.
Just the camera update.
Apps, 3 dots, show system apps, camera, 3 dots, uninstall updates.
sadly, that will also remove my data and I don't want to do that because my settings are my data and they are the way I want them. it would just be nice to be able to modify them if I want. if this doesn't fix the issue then I'm stuck and can't put the settings I want back in place. not willing to chance it.
But it's the setting for just the camera. That can easily be setup again, there aren't that many. The camera isn't working at all now, right?
What version of the Camera app do you have? Mine is 9.5.00.58. Since you're the only person reporting the camera-settings problem, I doubt it's a bug in either the Camera app or the latest firmware update.thank you! now I hope that it's this update that's causing it and not the one they sent through with the sec update.
yes, but everything in PDP was fully cleared of disabled apps, then closed, and it was such a pita getting on my device that uninstalling it is not something I want to do. not doing a FR either. not gonna happen. You've mentioned having used a package disabler, and also having just done two successive firmware updates in a row (having delayed the first one with the package disabler?), correct? My guess would be that your updates were installed improperly as a result.
Ok, good luck to you and your puppy!
thanks! he may need surgery. have an appt. on Monday so there's that too. more time more money. my head is spinning
Good luck. Keep your head up.
Taking care of our animal loved ones can be difficult.
My Cockatiel broke her leg once.
They gave her a little cast, and I had to buy an aquarium to prevent her from climbing.
