Can't access full screens of apps,

Since update, I can't access the full set of screens with all my apps on. The only ones I can see are those I've previously put on the Home Screen. Swiping up from Home opens a page with recent apps and the keyboard open. My Settings/Home Screen/Home Screen Only is on.
Any ideas gratefully received.

If it's set to Home Screen Only, then all of your apps are shown on the homescreens (like iOS), and there is no All Apps screen. You need to switch to the "Home and Apps screen" option for what you want.
