Can't add Office 365 work account to Gmail after Android 10

Either get a Can't find server error, or it sits and spins. If I setup my work email with the Outlook app first, I can then add the account to Gmail. But, the Gmail will never sync. While the Outlook app works correctly. Anyone else have this problem? Happening to me and 2 other co-workers. All of us have Pixels.

Sounds more like a work server thing than an Android thing. If the server is reachable, and is set up to something Gmail can handle, Gmail should find it and connect to it. (It has on mine, on all sorts of server setups.) Gmail is just a plain old email app, nothing mysterious.

Check with the company's email admin.
