Can't add pictures to Facebook comments from cellphone's web browser

[Android Central Question]

In the last 2 weeks (today is Nov 22 2019) I have been unable to upload photos to comments on Facebook. The same thing has happened using 2 different brand new phones, a Galaxy and a G7, both updated to the latest version of Android, both updated to the latest Chrome.
