Can't change DNS

Usually adding a VPN to an android device is pretty ***** proof, but not this time. If someone cane figure out out to change it to a static IP and change the DNS values, and actually save the settings, please let me know.

What vpn type? I use an app named OpenVpn Client. Cant remember what it costs but does all that for OpenVPN.

It's called unblock us. But I need to change the DNS settings,and it won't save them
