can't change lock screen to swipe

Since I updated to lollipop I can not change my lock screen type to swipe from pass code. the option for none and swipe are not available. It states that they have been turned off by administrator, encryption policy, or credential storage. I have no encryption policy, android is the administrator, and credential storage is hardware. Any suggestions on how to correct this?

I fixed it! lol finally found a forum with answer of clear credentials. works like a charm now
