Searched but didn't find anything except one thread with an answer that wasn't complete and doesn't solve the issue.
ATT S7 Active - since updating to Nougat - if I turn mobile data off, an icon appears in place of 'ATT' in the upper left and a notification shows when swiping down. The icon & notification cannot be cleared except by rebooting.
Anyone got other options?
The other thread said to slowly swipe to the right, select the settings icon (gear) that appears - but that only affects if the icon appears on the lock screen. I want to have the icon and the notification not be on the main screen (like prior to Nougat).
