Can't close Sansung Device Care

I have a new Z Flip 5, and I can't close Samsung Device Care app. I have tried to force stop the app and restart the phone. I cleared the system cache in recovery mode, but tha app will not go away.

Any ideas of what to do?

Do you mean it always opens up again in RAM? That can happen with certain apps because of the way they're coded. Just because it's open in RAM doesn't necessarily mean it's using any CPU cycles or battery -- if it's simply paused/cached, it doesn't use up any resources except RAM (and if the system needs more RAM, it'll automatically close something else out of RAM to make room).

That is strange, Device Care closes normally on my Flip 3 You're running One UI 5 (Android 13) right?

One of my pixels did that after an Android version update, but eventually the apps would close and it never affected anything. I wouldn't worry about it

Open your recent apps and tap the icon for Device Care at the top of the preview. A list of advanced options will popup (App Info, Split screen) at the bottom of the list it will either say "Keep open" or "Stop keeping open". If it says the latter, tap it and that's the issue fixed.

Suddenly today it is gone from the recent apps... Thanks to all of you for your suggestions.
