Can't connect to camera - htc one x at&t (cm10)

My camera app started to freeze on open. This issue started to happen all of a sudden.
Thinking it to be software issue , I installed Cm10.(got rid of the stock)

It did not fix the issue. It does work sometimes but very rarely.
I keep getting "Can't connect to camera". Sometimes I get "gallery isnt responding".

I found the following stack trace

Do any one have any idea what could be going on ?

I'd try clearing the camera app cache. If that doesn't work then rebooting to recovery and clearing cache/dalvik.

And if clearing the cache doesn't work, do a dirty flash (flash the Rom over itself without wiping). This will overwrite any corrupted or missing files with the correct ones.

I did flash the rom again. Did not help.

Do you have any themes in use? I just had the same issue and when I have my blackout theme active my camera doesn't work. Without the theme it works just fine. Try it.
