Can't connect to camera?

My LGE Lte Leon could not connect to the camera. And it took forever to boot up after being turned off. I started the phone in SAFE mode. Safe mode allows access to everything except 3rd party apps. I checked my camera in SAFE mode and it worked fine. So I assumed a 3rd party app was screwing with it. I deleted all 3rd party apps...didn't have many because I already did a hard reset. I restarted my phone in regular mode and now my phone works like new again. It even took care of the booting problem. I didn't even know there was a SAFE mode. Google how to do it!

I have a problem with my LG G flex' camera. It keeps on telling me camera error, cannot connect to camera after trying to connect it with google camera, factory reset , killing apps that uses the camera and many more on numerous time yet same. Because of that, the network is trying to misbehave. Any help please?

Welcome to Android Central! Since is a very old thread in the original Galaxy Nexus forum, it might be better to create a new thread with your question. But in the meantime, see if the problem occurs in Safe Mode. On most Android devices, while powered on, press and hold Power until the Power Off menu appears. Press and hold the Power Off selection until the Safe Mode prompt appears. Tap OK.

If the problem disappears in Safe Mode, then something you installed is causing the problem. You may have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem disappears. If the problem persists in Safe Mode, then it's more likely to be a hardware or firmware problem.

"Can't connect to the camera." How incompetent.
None of the these Force Stop, hold three buttons forever, use Safe Mode, etc. solutions ever made any difference on my phone. Reading the comments on this forum, it's clear that even when a "solution" works, it is often only temporary.
Android version is 6.0. My Samsung tablet with Android 6.0.1 doesn't have this camera problem. Can I upgrade Android myself?

Why is this thread marked Solved? For over 5 years many people find the "solutions" don't work.
