Can't connect to Google+

So having some issues. I previously downloaded the stock market app for Google + and it was working fine. I saw some cool themes (Dark, Clear backgrounds) for Google+ so uninstalled the stock app from the market and downloaded the Google+ with the new color themes. Now it won't let me connect for some reason... it lets me choose the google account, but it just shows "connecting" message but does not proceed to the menu.

I would un-install the custom apks and report a bug to whoever released them and just use the market app in the meantime.

I installed the market app just in case and it still doesnt work... i might have to do a little more digging. Thanks for the response!
