Can't Connect to Hidden SSID

Hello -

I can connect to the network when the SSID is not hidden, but if I hide it and leave to work and come back it cannot find the network.

All of my other devices can connect to it, so thinking something in the DT2's settings, android, etc. Running 6.0.1; 01 Sep 16

Router is a Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 (R7000) with stock settings (network name and passord changed), firmware current.

Thoughts?

Don't hide the SSID. It doesn't give you very much security at all anyway.
