can't cut and paste from email?

I can't cut and paste from any of my emails...

Anyone else have the same problem?

Usually I just hold down on the screen and it allows me to select text or all... nothing happens.

Am I doing it wrong?

Are you using any email app in particular or just the stock Android email app?

Try holding down the shift button on the keyboard and then highlight what you want to copy

It might be like the "browser" where you have to hit the menu key and click "copy text" which will allow you to highlight something.

I am using the stock email app.

but I am trying to do this without using the slide out keyboard... it doesn't seem like its possible
