Cant delete files or format SD card

Whenever I try to delete a file (photo, video, mp3) it says 'Unable to delete file'. I also tried to select the 'Format SD Card' option and it's grayed out.

I even tried to delete files through the ASTRO File Manager app and still get the same "Unable to delete file" message.

Is there some sort of lock setting for files that I am missing?

Damn, so no one has experienced this? I tried searching this forum to no avail either. Guess I will have to call Motorola


Update: Fixed. A simple battery pull and sd card unmount/mount fixed this. Now the files/directories delete as normal. Still have no idea what caused this but it's a relief to have fixed it.
