Can't delete or rename a file

I'm trying to copy some save game data files across from my old Kindle to my new Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE - I've initially copied the files to my PC (via USB cable) and also made backups of the save data files on the Galaxy Tab.

Still using the USB connection from my PC to browse and generally access the files I can delete/overwrite/rename most of the relevant files on the Galaxy Tab but there are two which I can't do anything with and which I need to replace.

They won't delete, rename or overwrite and I'm not sure why.

Have rebooted the Tab, the game isn't running, etc.

Looking at the file properties (still using my PC for remote access) the files aren't marked read only.

Any ideas please?

What directory are those files in? Some directories (like anything under/Android/data) are protected by the system.

The folder is:

com.rvappstudios.tap.blast.match3.puzzle\files\il2cpp\Metadata

the file that I can't delete, rename or overwrite is global-metadata

and yet I can alter files in the rest of the folder structure.

I've just in fact worked around it by renaming a folder higher up and just copying the folder structure, a bit puzzled about that file though.

Hmm, not sure why that is. You can try contacting the game developers and asking if there's an easy way to transfer the appropriate data over.
