Can't figure out what's keeping my phone awake

So maybe I'm not looking in the right places. Tried spare parts biggest time is cell standby. My phone is at 100 % awake time and i don't know how to pin point what's doing this! Help please!

The staying awake while charging? Its not set to stay awake and I put my battery this morning and it hasn't been plugged in since. What else could be keeping it awake?

hmmm, which ROM is it?

and i was thinking it might have a high awake time because of the fresh install and the phone updating everything, but a couple of days seems long enough for it to run its course.

Do you have android sdk set up on your pc? On you pc press start and then command prompt would there first couple programs.
If you don't want to use your pc,then download terminal emulator from the market and enter these commands.
su <--will have to allow superuser access when your press enter.
top -m 5 -n 1

so now that i've done with, what do i read from this? it says at the very beginning, user 3%, System 4%, IOW 0%, IRQ 0%
User 11 + Nice 0 + Sys 14 + Idle 283 + IOW 0 + IRQ 0 + SIRQ 0 = 308

the only Name's Listed under that are:
System_server
top
/system/bin/akmd
alei.switchpro
events/0

and the percents for the above listed are 4%, 2%, and the rest 0%?

what exactly should i be looking for on here?

Good you got it to work.I was kind of hoping one of those apps would have a higher cpu,that would of helped pin point the issue.
I suspect it's a app you installed.The easiest way to figure out which app would be to uninstall them all,reboot and then slowly install them keeping a eye on the awake time when it starts to be almost the same up time/awale time then you've found the app that is causing the issue.

would the multicon widget be doing this? has anyone had any reports of any apps causing 100% awake time?
I just reinstalled all my apps last night, as i flashed a new Rom and mybackup pro didn't let me restore my apps

i guess that's the next thing i'll be doing if i can't figure it out.

So............i figured out what the culprit was, Facebook.

Is there any other facebook apps out there?
