Ive searched my apps and cant find a donloads app. I want to remove downloads to increase space on my motorola G 3rd gen.

Welcome to the forums. Can you a find in your app drawer an app called Files?

Using your favorite file browser app, go to your "downloads" folder and view/delete the files as desired.
